August 19th we will be having a delicious pork chop dinner. Included in the dinner will be a pork chop and 2 sides for $9.95. I need to have a final count into Boonies soon, anyone who I did not talk to and is interested please email me back to claim your chop.
We had another great week to score and the scores represented that. Matt Mourek was 2 under on the day. Bruce Elliot chose 2 holes to play very well on going 1 under on the secret holes, #4 and 5. Scott Crerar won both Long Putt on #5 and Closest to the Pin on #1.
Flight A:
Matt Mourek and Mark Simmons netted down to 31’s which lead the flight followed by Tim Skidmore and Greg Pasek at 32’s. Bruce Elliot who has been playing well recently continues to stretch his lead and it is all the way up to 17 points.
Flight B:
Phil Hayes kept up the trend of great scores firing a 37 to net down to a 30 to win both medalist and low net for the week. Mike Black’s net of 31 was good for second with Jerry Lin, Greg Ford, and Troy Colby all with a net of 32 to t-3rd. Flight B continues to be a highly contested flight with many a lot of players still in the hunt for the championship.
Flight C:
There was no power outage for Tony Moreno who shot a 43 to net a 31 and led the C flight for the week. Tony’s 1st place finish moved him into 1st by 7.5 points.
Flight D:
Greg Lesher has really turned it on as of late with a net of 29 to tie Milt Johnson for low net. Greg’s finished helped him leap from Matt Kurowski for 1st place in what has turned out to be a back and forth battle for the past few weeks.
